Step 1: GPRS settings
Select CONNECTIVITY, press Yes and Data Comm. > Data accounts > New Account > GPRS data
Next, for each of the fields enter :
-Name - connect
-Access Point Name – connect.mobilinkworld.com
-User ID - NIL
-Password - NIL
-Click Save

Step 2: Configuration WAP services settings
Select CONNECTIVITY, press Yes. WAP Option, press Yes. Select Options, press Yes
Select WAP Profiles, press Yes. New Profile, press Yes
Next, for each of the fields enter :
-New Profile – WAP
-Connect using – connect
-IP address– 172.24.97.29, click Save, press Yes

Step 3: MMS Settings
Select CONNECTIVITY, press Yes. Select Data Comm, press yes. Select Data Account, press Yes. Select New Account, press Yes. Select GPRS Data, press Yes. Next, for each of the fields enter:
-Name: MMS
-APN – mms.mobilinkworld.com
-User ID - mobilink
-Password - mobilink
-press Save ? Yes
Select Messaging, press Yes. Select Picture, press Yes.Select Option, press Yes
-Validity Period - maximum
-Read Report - Off
-Delivery Report– Off
-Auto Delete - Off
-Auto Download - Confirm
-Message Server – http://mms/
-WAP profile: MMS

Sony Ericsson P 800, P 900 and P 900i

Step 1: GPRS settings
From main menu, select Control Panel press tab Connections > Internet accounts > Accounts > New
Next, for each of the fields enter :
-Account name – connect
-Connection type – GPRS, click Advanced
-User name -
-Password -
-Address – connect.mobilinkworld.com
-Click Done

Step 2 : Configuring WAP Proxy settings (for GPRS WAP and MMS WAP)

From main menu, select Control Panel land Connections > WAP accounts > Basic > New
Next, for each of the fields enter :
-Account name – WAP
-Internet account – WAP
-Use Proxy - yes
-Address – 172. 24.97.29
-Port – 9201
- Let Username & password: mobilink
-Click Done
Select preferred: connect
From main menu, select Control Panel land Connections > WAP accounts > Basic > New
Next, for each of the fields enter :
-Account name- MMS
-Internet account –MMS as configured in Step 1
-Use Proxy - yes
-Address – 172.25.20.12
-Port - 9201
-Click Done (Select preferred: connect)

Step 3 : Configuring Multi-Media Message settings

From main menu, select Control Panel and Connections > Messaging accounts > MMS
Next, for each of the fields enter :
-Service centre address - http://mms/
-Wap account – MMS as configured in Step 2
-Automatic - On
-Download size - No restrictions
- Click Done

Step 1: GPRS Settings

1. From Main Menu, Select Control Panel
2. Press Connections tab
3. Select Internet accounts, press Accounts tab and select New
4. For each of the fields enter:
- Account name – connect
- Connection type – GPRS
5. Press tab Advanced
-User name – N/A
-Password – N/A
-Address – connect.mobilinkworld.com
6. Click Done


Step 2: Configuring WAP Proxy settings

1. From main menu, select Control Panel

2. Press Connections tab
3. Select WAP accounts and Press tab Basic and select New
4. Next, for each of the fields enter :
- Account name- MMS
- Internet account –MMS
- Use Proxy - yes
- Address – 172.25.20.12
- Port - 9201
- Username: Mobilink
- Password: Mobilink
- Click Done
5. Select preferred: WAP
6. From main menu, select Control Panel
7. Press tab Connections and select Messaging accounts
8. Press tab MMS
9. Next, for each of the fields enter :
-Service centre address - http://mms/
-Wap account – MMS
-Automatic - On
-Download size - No restrictions
- Click Done

Step 1: GPRS settings

Go back to menu Add Profile ? press Yes

Select Connect, press Yes. Select Data Comm, press Yes.Select Data Account, press Yes. Select Add/New Account, press Yes.Select GPRS Data, press Yes. Next, for each of the fields enter :
-Name - MMS

-User ID - mobilink
-Password - mobilink
-select Save ? Yes
Select Multimedia/MMS, press Yes. Select Option, press Yes.
-Validity Period - maximum
